How does academia-driven open innovation contribute to the protection and preservation of cultural heritage in crisis situations? What kind of cooperation is needed to protect and preserve cultural heritage and what is the role of open innovation in this process?
Katerina Zourou and Stefania Oikonomou host a session with 5 expert talks on these topics. The objectives are:
- Raise awareness about the potential of a cooperation between academia and society in crisis response for heritage protection, in a citizen engagement realm that increasingly gains traction.
- Share concrete examples on initiatives that successfully matched these groups (citizens, academia, CHIs) in the Ukrainian crisis by means of open innovation.
