WE-Hope (2019-2022) is a Creative Europe cooperation project connecting people through memories and experiences of migration in Europe, aiming to promote multiculturalism through sharing experiences of surviving crises across generations, thus bringing ‘old’ Europe and ‘new’ Europe closer together in a common framework of hope for the future. The project uses heritage, art and technology to celebrate our common values: inclusion and togetherness.
To reach this objective, the project partners work together on:
Building a digital repository – A Bank of Memories has been built on testimonies from refugees and migrants and will be freely available
Creating an artistic performance inspired by the testimonies and based on an ancient ‘street art’ form
Producing a learning resource based on the testimonies, to encourage a more inclusive ethos – in multiple languages, free to download.
Join and find out more how WE-Hope aims to make invisible stories and memories visible by promoting the values of a common heritage of tolerance, solidarity, inclusion and mutual respect.
