The project Jewish History Tours creates and distributes self-guided audio tours across Jewish sites. Building on this work, the next stage is to create a strategic cooperation between Europeana and Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe program, representing thousands of touristic sites across Europe.
This co-design workshop will explore how this cooperation can be constructed, learning from the lessons of the project. It will talk about data sharing and ownership, interoperability between platforms, data silos, and the role of public digital infrastructures. Together with experts from the project and the audience, we will develop guidelines that can help encourage and strengthen the synergies between the data spaces for cultural heritage and tourism.
