Stories, culture and society.
Today’s world is hard to talk about. Every day, we’re conscious of issues to do with war, climate change, physical and mental health pandemics and human rights.
At Europeana, we often talk about putting digital cultural heritage to good use in the world - we want it to bring communities together, to foster understanding of our varied cultural identities, to create connections.
In this session, we talk to people who are doing just that - using shared cultures and their own storytelling expertise to bring people together, to experience a sense of connection and co-creation, and to make things a little easier to talk about.
Panellists: Mr Gee, Data poet; Guy Tilkin, Chair of the board of the Federation of European Storytelling (FEST); Hans Looijen, CEO of Museum van de Geest; Lisa Peter, Engagement Professional, Royal Horticultural Society.
