inDICEs is a new way to measure the impact of digital culture. Its goal is to
empower cultural heritage professionals, policy-makers and decision-makers in the Cultural and Creative Industries to fully understand the social and economic impact of digitisation in their sectors and address the need for innovative (re)use of cultural assets. To this aim, the project is developing:
(i) a set of policy recommendations designed to assist CHIs in fulfilling their public mission in the digital realm and to support access to, and the reusability of, digital cultural heritage;
(ii) an interactive environment where heritage professionals can collaboratively learn how to convert digital ambitions into digital strategies and gather data to continuously monitor their performance;
(iii) a learning course in the form of a MOOC aimed at supporting cultural heritage professionals at all stages of their careers to develop digital strategies.
Throughout the lunch break and all afternoon, an exhibition space is available in the Visboek room where it is possible to learn more about inDICEs and try the tools that the project is developing.
