Digital Innovation of Cultural Heritage for Tourism

ARCTUR has been instrumental in helping Slovenia to achieve its ambitious vision in becoming the leading European country in the digitally rich experience of immovable cultural heritage.

During this session you will learn how more than 100 units of cultural heritage were digitised in the last two years, resulting in Slovenia receiving the Destination of Sustainable Cultural Tourism award in 2021. You will hear about the digital innovations and tools used to create new 5-Star Cultural Tourist Experiences and how knowledge transfer, intersectoral collaboration, and digital implementation can be boosted throughout the Cultural Heritage and Tourism sectors.
