We live surrounded by audiovisual content. In this last decade, and especially during the pandemic, rapid digital growth has provided users with access to new technologies like never before. In turn, it has highlighted the technological barriers experienced by many, and the need for more accessible and user-friendly technologies so that diverse users are able to tell their own stories.
Join this session to discover how the MEDIAVERSE project explores how new technologies can contribute to social development by broadening access to cultural heritage amongst diverse users, such as school children, young migrants and people with cognitive disabilities.
During the session, you will discover the potential of new technology towards social inclusion in cultural heritage by learning about the immersive storytelling authoring tool used in MEDIAVERSE to facilitate collaboration with users.
